This special exhibit operates in conjunction with the co-production of the Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Opera's Fiddler on the Roof showcasing the creative talents of acclaimed costume designer Vita Tzykun and her father, celebrated Israeli artist Arkady Tzykun.
The exhibition features over 50 collaborative costume illustrations created by Vita and Arkady for the co-production, striking sculptural figures of Tevye and a towering 8-foot-tall Grandma Tzeitel, and Arkady’s portraits with corresponding caricatures. Together, their works reflect Jewish heritage, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate the power of art to shape cultural memory.

Rabbi Ira BedzowExecutive Director of the Emory Purpose Project at Emory UniversityIra Bedzow PhD is a leading voice on purpose-driven leadership, ethical decision-making, and the role of values in shaping lives, organizations, and society. As the executive director of the Emory Purpose Project at Emory University, he helps students—and audiences of all kinds—reflect on meaning, align their choices with their core values, and live with greater intentionality. Bedzow brings a unique perspective that bridges higher education, healthcare, business and organizational culture, and moral leadership. He is an associate professor in the practice of organization and management at Goizueta Business School, an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Emory School of Medicine, and a core faculty member at Emory University’s Center for Ethics. He also serves as a senior fellow in the Center for the Study of Law and Religion. His work focuses on how individuals and institutions can cultivate ethical cultures, especially in the face of complexity. Whether unpacking the ethical implications of biotechnology and healthcare policy or helping leaders move from asking “What should I do?” to “How can I act on my values effectively?”—he offers practical insights grounded in deep philosophical thought. Bedzow is also a senior scholar at the Aspen Center for Social Values and co-director of the Ferencz Institute for Ethics, Human Rights and the Holocaust. He brings the depth of a philosopher, the clarity of a communicator, and the heart of a teacher—and, as an Orthodox rabbi, he speaks fluently across traditions, sectors, and audiences. |

Professor Edward Queen IIAssociate Teaching Professor and Director of the D. Abbott Turner Program in Ethics and Servant Leadership at the Emory University Center for EthicsEdward L. Queen is Associate Teaching Professor and Director of the D. Abbott Turner Program in Ethics and Servant Leadership at the Emory University Center for Ethics. He also serves as a co-director of Emory’s Institute of Human Rights. Previous positions include founding director of the Religion and Philanthropy Project at the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy and program officer at Lilly Endowment, Inc. He received his B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College, his M.A. and Ph.D. from The Divinity School of The University of Chicago, and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. While in law school, Queen led an Innocence Project team that freed a wrongly convicted man after 20 years in prison. Between 2000 and 2003 he worked at a human rights organization in Macedonia and served as the faculty and curriculum development consultant for the law faculty of that country’s newly founded South Eastern European University. Queen’s work focuses on applied and professional ethics and the development and implementation of ethics programs in businesses, nonprofits, and governmental agencies. As a teacher, his goal is the formation of ethically informed and publicly engaged citizens. Queen has trained and advised numerous organizations on management and ethical issues including: the Federal Home Loan Bank, Atlanta; Belk: AECOM; Ethisphere; Voya; Coca Cola; USAID; SunTrust; Philanthropy Southeast; DeKalb County, Georgia; and Atlanta Public Schools. He currently serves as an advisor to Merlynn Intelligence Technologies on AI and ethical decision-making and a trainer for the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. He is frequently called on by the media to comment on ethical issues in government, nonprofits, law, and business. Queen is a recipient of the Laura Jones Hardman Award for Excellence in Service to the Emory Community, given to those who serve “as role-models to students and others by offering an unselfish, time-consuming, and appreciable service to the university community.” Additionally, he has been recognized by Emory University’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter as a professor “who has encouraged and helped students to excel, and who exemplifies intellectual rigor and enthusiasm for scholarly pursuits.” |

About Coby GetzugCoby Getzug began his career on Broadway in 2009 in the acclaimed revival of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs." He most recently understudied Daniel Radcliffe as Charley in the Tony-winning revival of "Merrily We Roll Along," and will be featured in the upcoming filmed version from Sony Picture Classics. Other Broadway credits include Richard Dreyfuss/Roy Scheider in "The Shark is Broken" and Elder Cunningham in "The Book of Mormon." On tour, Coby starred as Moritz in "Spring Awakening" and Papi in "The Band's Visit." Regionally, he has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, the Broad Stage, and the Adirondack Theatre Festival. Other television and film credits include "The Deuce" on HBO, "God Friended Me" on CBS, and "Encore!" on Disney+. He's a proud graduate of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television and the LA County High School for the Arts. |

About Hannah MorrisonAfter years of competitive training under Jeff Boss and Jamie Wardrop at Dance Arts Centre in Suwanee, Hannah Morrison moved to New York City to complete the Dance Theatre program at American Musical and Dramatic Academy Conservatory. Theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast (City Springs Theatre Company), Fiddler on the Roof (City Springs Theatre Company), Guys and Dolls (Axelrod Performing Arts Center), and A Chorus Line (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina). Hannah is very excited to currently be a part of the Alliance Theater & Atlanta Opera's Fiddler on the Roof. TV/Film credits include Katy Perry’s Vanguard performance at MTV’s 2024 “VMAs”, “Tulsa King”, “The Staircase", “Megalopolis”, and the upcoming film, “Otra”. Hannah is a member of Actor's Equity Association and is currently signed with Clear Talent Group for NYC representation and XCEL Talent for ATL representation. When Hannah is not dancing herself, she is a proud teacher and choreographer for DANCE LAB in Suwanee, GA. Her work in the competition circuit has won many special/ choreography awards, placed 1st across multiple age divisions & categories, and has won national titles. Whether it's through teaching or performing, Hannah's mission is to inspire all movers and dancers to be more creative, unapologetically passionate, and confident in their craft. About Mia PineroMia Pinero is a New York City based performer who most recently performed alongside Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, covering Johanna and the Beggar Woman. She made her Broadway debut as Maria while understudying in Ivo Van Hove's revival of West Side Story and has performed at some of the most prestigious theaters across the country, including Paper Mill Playhouse, the Alliance Theatre, the Guthrie Theater, the York Theatre, PlayMakers Repertory Company, and Westport Country Playhouse. Her concert credits include venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Times Center, and Feinstein's/ 54 Below where she made her solo debut performance in Growing Up: An Album Release Celebration in Concert!. On camera, Mia played Angelica in Law and Order: SVU, was featured on a CitiBank commercial where she got to eat BBQ chicken wings (a favorite), and was featured on the 76th Annual Tony Awards and The Today Show. Spring of 2022, she released and co-produced her solo debut album, Growing Up, which is available on all streaming platforms. As a teacher and coach, Mia works with students of all ages and backgrounds in both masterclasses and 1:1 settings. Sebastian Serra is thrilled to be making his Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Opera debut! Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Sebastian is an accomplished ballet dancer having studied in different schools around Puerto Rico and the US. Eventually he moved to the states where he danced professionally for over 10 years with a number of companies including Boston Ballet and Orlando Ballet. His previous regional credits include: Bernardo in West Side Story (BAS), Carousel (Orlando Opera), The Bridgerton Experience (Netflix). On film Sebastian can be seen as Braulio in Steven Spielberg’s Academy nominated West Side Story and as Aiden in Paramount’s Zoey 102. On TV some of his credits include Found (NBC), All the Queen’s Men (BET), and Rap Sh!t (HBO). @serraseba

Jody Feldman began her theater career as an actress in Atlanta before moving into administration as the Assistant General Manager at Frank Wittow’s Academy Theatre. It was at the Academy that Jody realized the importance of theatre to a city’s cultural values and personality. Feldman started her career at the Alliance as Casting Director in 1991, and added Producer to her title and responsibilities in 2001. She has cast and produced more than 200 productions at the Alliance, encompassing a range of world premieres that includes The Last Night of Ballyhoo by Alfred Uhry, What I Learned in Paris by Pearl Cleage, Broke and Troubadour by Janece Shaffer, In the Red and Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney and more than 10 years of Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition-winning plays plus such world and regional premiere musicals as Tuck Everlasting; Aida; The Color Purple; Sister Act: The Musical; Bring It On: The Musical; Ghost Brothers of Darkland County; Harmony, A New Musical and The Prom. Jody is most proud of the thriving Alliance engagement activities and partnerships that recognize theatrical work as a catalyst for community conversation and connection.
