Join us for a special series of one-day classes led by company members currently starring in Fiddler on the Roof at the Alliance Theatre. Each class dives into material from the production itself, giving students a rare opportunity to learn directly from working professionals bringing this iconic musical to life.

Whether you’re an actor, singer, dancer, or a fan of the show this is a unique chance to train with artists at the top of their field — while experiencing the artistry behind Alliance’s production of Fiddler on the Roof

Class 1: Scene Study with Coby 

Sunday, September 29 // 6:30–9:30 PM

Dig deep into character work and text analysis with Coby Getzug. Using scenes from Fiddler on the Roof, students will explore truthful connection, ensemble listening, and making bold choices. 

About Coby Getzug

Coby Getzug began his career on Broadway in 2009 in the acclaimed revival of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs." He most recently understudied Daniel Radcliffe as Charley in the Tony-winning revival of "Merrily We Roll Along," and will be featured in the upcoming filmed version from Sony Picture Classics. Other Broadway credits include Richard Dreyfuss/Roy Scheider in "The Shark is Broken" and Elder Cunningham in "The Book of Mormon." On tour, Coby starred as Moritz in "Spring Awakening" and Papi in "The Band's Visit." Regionally, he has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, the Broad Stage, and the Adirondack Theatre Festival. Other television and film credits include "The Deuce" on HBO, "God Friended Me" on CBS, and "Encore!" on Disney+. He's a proud graduate of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television and the LA County High School for the Arts.


Class 2: Choreo with Hannah 

Monday, September 30 // 3–6 PM 

Step into the movement world of Fiddler on the Roof with Hannah Morrison. Students will learn choreography directly inspired by the production, while exploring how to marry storytelling and movement in a musical theatre context. 

About Hannah Morrison

After years of competitive training under Jeff Boss and Jamie Wardrop at Dance Arts Centre in Suwanee, Hannah Morrison moved to New York City to complete the Dance Theatre program at American Musical and Dramatic Academy Conservatory. Theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast (City Springs Theatre Company), Fiddler on the Roof (City Springs Theatre Company), Guys and Dolls (Axelrod Performing Arts Center), and A Chorus Line (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina). Hannah is very excited to currently be a part of the Alliance Theater & Atlanta Opera's Fiddler on the Roof. TV/Film credits include Katy Perry’s Vanguard performance at MTV’s 2024 “VMAs”, “Tulsa King”, “The Staircase", “Megalopolis”, and the upcoming film, “Otra”. Hannah is a member of Actor's Equity Association and is currently signed with Clear Talent Group for NYC representation and XCEL Talent for ATL representation. When Hannah is not dancing herself, she is a proud teacher and choreographer for DANCE LAB in Suwanee, GA. Her work in the competition circuit has won many special/ choreography awards, placed 1st across multiple age divisions & categories, and has won national titles. Whether it's through teaching or performing, Hannah's mission is to inspire all movers and dancers to be more creative, unapologetically passionate, and confident in their craft. The world needs it now more than ever!


Class 3: Acting Through Song with Mia 

Thursday, October 3 // 12–3 PM 

Discover how to bring truth and storytelling into every note with Mia Pinero. Students will use songs from Fiddler on the Roof to refine vocal performance, strengthen emotional connection, and find their unique voice as singing actors. 

About Mia Pinero

Mia Pinero is a New York City based performer who most recently performed alongside Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, covering Johanna and the Beggar Woman. She made her Broadway debut as Maria while understudying in Ivo Van Hove's revival of West Side Story and has performed at some of the most prestigious theaters across the country, including Paper Mill Playhouse, the Alliance Theatre, the Guthrie Theater, the York Theatre, PlayMakers Repertory Company, and Westport Country Playhouse. Her concert credits include venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Times Center, and Feinstein's/ 54 Below where she made her solo debut performance in Growing Up: An Album Release Celebration in Concert!. On camera, Mia played Angelica in Law and Order: SVU, was featured on a CitiBank commercial where she got to eat BBQ chicken wings (a favorite), and was featured on the 76th Annual Tony Awards and The Today Show. Spring of 2022, she released and co-produced her solo debut album, Growing Up, which is available on all streaming platforms. As a teacher and coach, Mia works with students of all ages and backgrounds in both masterclasses and 1:1 settings.
