About Coby GetzugCoby Getzug began his career on Broadway in 2009 in the acclaimed revival of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs." He most recently understudied Daniel Radcliffe as Charley in the Tony-winning revival of "Merrily We Roll Along," and will be featured in the upcoming filmed version from Sony Picture Classics. Other Broadway credits include Richard Dreyfuss/Roy Scheider in "The Shark is Broken" and Elder Cunningham in "The Book of Mormon." On tour, Coby starred as Moritz in "Spring Awakening" and Papi in "The Band's Visit." Regionally, he has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, the Broad Stage, and the Adirondack Theatre Festival. Other television and film credits include "The Deuce" on HBO, "God Friended Me" on CBS, and "Encore!" on Disney+. He's a proud graduate of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television and the LA County High School for the Arts. |
