Mark Valdez (Director/Writer) is the artistic director of Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis, where he partners with communities, organizations, civic institutions, and others, using theater and creative tools to address community needs and lift community voices and stories. His work has been seen at the Alliance Theatre, Cornerstone Theater Company, East West Players, La Peña Cultural Center, Mixed Blood, the Ricardo Montalban Theater/CTG, and Trinity Rep, among others. Recent projects include the animated short film The Curious Cardinal, Detained by France-Luce Benson, and The Most Beautiful Home…Maybe, an interactive performance about affordable housing that toured the U.S. With Mixed Blood, he commissioned 12 artists to create new performances with/for 12 Twin Cities communities. The project, 12x12, culminates in day long festival of all 12 performances. Mark was the founding Executive Director of the Network of Ensemble Theaters, a collective of artists committed to co-creation. He is the recipient of the Johnson Fellowship for Artists Transforming Communities, the Zelda Fichandler Award, and the California Arts Council’s Legacy Artist Fellowship.

Pamela Gold (Mrs. Tiggy-Wingle/Dance Captain) has performed on Broadway in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with Matthew Broderick and Once Upon a Mattress with Sarah Jessica Parker. She has toured nationally as Bebe in A Chorus Line, and appeared on regional stages all over the country, including The Kennedy Center, Goodspeed Opera House, The Old Globe, and Pittsburgh Public Theatre among others. She is thrilled to return to the Alliance, where she has performed in the pre-Broadway world premiere of Elaborate Lives: The Legend of Aida, The Game of Love and Chance, and Degas’ Little Dancer. Patty de la Garza (Squirrel Nutkin) Patty is thrilled and humbled to be able to bring to life the story of Into the Burrow with this amazing and talented cast! A Mexican storyteller, on stage she is an actor, dancer, and singer also jumping behind the curtain as a choreographer for both dance and intimacy. She received her BFA in Acting with a minor in dance and voice from Emerson College. Knowing how much art impacts people’s lives and wishing to inspire change, Patty is also a teaching artist with theater’s like the Alliance Theater, StageDoor, and the Atlanta Shakespeare Company as well as in programs such as Chopart that provides arts to teens experiencing homelessness. When not in the theater world she can be found with a nice cup of tea and her nose in a book…or flowers. She absolutely loves belugas and swimming. She also has her adventures companion: a cute dog named Sirius. Sims Lamason (Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle) Sims Lamason is grateful to be a part of the Alliance Theatre community again, supporting this talented cast. She is a licensed mental health counselor working toward certification as a Drama Therapist, using theatre, dance and expressive arts methods in much of her therapeutic work. Favorite roles include Jo March in the musical Little Women, Eva Perón in Evita, Alice Arden in Arden of Faversham, Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Lorraine in the wonderfully campy off-Broadway show Spandex the Musical, recently reimagined and recorded as a full Foley-style radio play! Halli Rider (Benjamin Bunny; they/them) is so excited to be in their first professional show at the Alliance Theatre! They graduated from The Gainesville Theatre Alliance in Spring of 2023 with a B.F.A. in Acting. Halli is also a playwright in their free time, and they love reading/watching new works! Cameron Smith (Peter Rabbit; he/him) is excited to work with the very talented cast of Into the Burrow and is excited that you all get to see it. Cameron is so glad to be back at the Alliance. Some of his previous credits are G. Petto in P. Nokio: A HipHop Musical (Aurora Theatre), The D’Ysquith Family in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder (Festival 56), and Julius in Selma The Musical: The Untold Stories (IC Theatre). Cameron earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Reinhardt University and beyond undergrad, he has studied at The Company Acting Studio, Drama Inc., Dad’s Garage, Dwayne Boyd’s Premier Actors’ Network, and AGI Entertainment. Cameron is eternally thankful for his family, his great mentor Mr. Eugene Russell, his teachers, and his friends for always having his back through encouragement, tough love, honesty, and wisdom. 

Israel Vaughn (Mr. Alderman Ptolemy Tortoise; he/him) is so excited and blessed to make his Alliance debut in Into the Burrow. He recently made his return to stage last winter as Simeon in Mother of God (Southwest Arts Center). You can currently catch him on a few streaming platforms that cannot be listed here due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Israel is originally from Richmond, VA. He attended college at the University of Virginia where he minored in Drama and was very active in the department. Matthew Wangemann (Jeremy Fisher) is a recent graduate of Southern Utah University where he earned a BFA in Musical Theatre and Minor in Dance. At SUU he was seen in productions such as Falsettos, Cabaret, Into the Woods, and Assassins among others. He spent his summer at the Utah Shakespeare Festival where he was a part of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and the Greenshows. Matthew has spent most of his life in Utah, and is thrilled to be joining the company at Alliance Theatre for the first time with Into the Burrow. He is passionate about food, travel,  theatre, and is excited about what adventures may come next! 

Christian Albright (Composer) is thrilled to be collaborating with the Alliance Theatre on another amazing production!  Into the Burrow was such a fun experience and it was such a joy to share the room with other talented artists and creative minds. He is also grateful to be working on another production with his creative partner and best friend Christian Magby. Credits include: Lyricist for The Incredible Book Eating Boy (Alliance Theatre). Brandon Bush (Composer/Music Supervisor) has performed on GRAMMY® Award-nominated and winning releases by John Mayer, Sugarland, Little Big Town, and Train. Recent composing credits include Good Eats (Food Network), Approval Junkie (Minetta Lane Theatre, Audible Originals), and podcasts Broadway Revival, Gangster House, and Baron of Botox. Music Direction credits include Working (Alliance Theatre), Shakespeare In Love (Alliance Theatre), and the world premiere musicals Darlin’ Cory (Alliance Theatre) and Troubadour (Alliance Theatre). Currently, Bush is touring as the music director for his brother Kristian Bush. He also manages the Atlanta based creative studio, Songs of the Architect, where he composes for new media.

Raymond Carr (Shadow Puppet Design/Filmography) Raymond Carr has been a filmmaker and puppeteer for 20 years. His award-winning films have been accepted into Oscar-qualifying film festivals worldwide. His highly stylized films specialize in puppetry, sci-fi, and fantasy with a social consciousness. He co-stars in the Jim Henson Company’s series Splash and Bubbles on PBS and is an ensemble member of the puppet improv group Puppet Up for Henson Alternative. He has also worked on shows like Crank Yankers, Walking With Dinosaurs, Lazytown on Nick Jr, BBC’s Moon and Me, Earth To Ned on Disney+ and various projects for the Center for Puppetry Arts and Cartoon Network, HBO, Disney. Raymond’s Film Hitori produced by Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams is currently available on Amazon Prime. In addition, he served on the board of The Jim Henson Foundation. He was recently the Puppet Captain for the upcoming Netflix limited series ERIC, starring Benedict Cumberbatch premiering in early 2024. 

Kat Conley (Scenic Design) is ecstatic to return to the Alliance to create this burrow.  She has designed the scenery for more than 30 Alliance productions over the past 20 years, from 2003’s Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse to last season’s The Incredible Book Eating Boy.  Kat has designed scenery for Arena Stage, Orlando Shakespeare, the Kennedy Center, Georgia Shakespeare, Marin Theatre Company, Actor’s Express, The Atlanta Ballet, The Center for Puppetry Arts, 7 Stages, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theatre, Theatre in the Square, and Aurora Theatre. She continues to be the Charge Scenic Artist for the Alliance Theatre. Whether dramatically challenging, visionary, or escapist, all theater and art is important; thank you for supporting it in our community.

Garry Lennon (Costume Design; he/him) is happy to be returning to the Alliance after previously designing costumes for Sister Act. He has designed multiple productions for Independent Shakespeare Company including MacBeth, Richard III, Twelfth Night, A Winter’s Tale, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  He recently designed Metamorphosis and The Winter’s Tale at A Noise Within in Pasadena, CA.  Other work includes Fuente Ovejuna and A Christmas Carol at Trinity Repertory, District Merchants, Jane of The Jungle at South Coast Repertory and The Thanksgiving Play at the Geffen Theatre. He has also worked with Cornerstone Theater Company, Reprise Theatre Company, and Mixed Blood, among others.  Garry is the Costume Design Professor at California State University, Northridge.  He is also the Executive Director of Teenage Drama Workshop. Christian Magby (Composer), composer and actor, is excited to be back at Alliance Theatre after an extended world premiere and remount of The Incredible Book Eating Boy, for which he also composed the music. He can currently be seen in the CW’s hit series, “The Flash,” as Deon Owens, the Still Force and latest cosmic force to be introduced to the Arrowverse. He can also be seen in the Oscar nominated, Amazon feature “One Night in Miami,” directed by Regina King, starring opposite Leslie Odom Jr., Aldis Hodge and Lance Reddick. He also worked in the music department for the NBC/Universal motion pictures, “Dear Evan Hansen” and “Pitch Perfect 3.” He just finished music directing Dreamgirls with Dominion Entertainment, and Garden at the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Last year, he served as executive producer and composer for the original musical "Mother of God" which premiered at the Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta. Karin Olson (Lighting Design) is based in Minneapolis, MN, where she designs at the Guthrie Theater, Ordway Performing Arts Center, Children’s Theatre Company, Penumbra Theater, Park Square Theatre, and with many itinerant Twin Cities theater and dance companies. She has also designed regionally for Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Syracuse Stage, and Trinity Repertory Theater. She loves working on new works and has recently created lighting designs for the premieres of The Song Poet with the Minnesota Opera, The Defeat of Jesse James and Runestone at the History Theatre, imagine a U.S. without racism at Mixed Blood Theater, and Spamtown, USA! at The Children’s Theater Company. Other recent designs include Antigone at Cleveland Playhouse, Redwood at the Jungle Theater, the Kung Fu Zombies Saga with Theater Mu, and Jason Moran’s Last Jazz Festival at the Walker Arts Center. Divinity Roxx (Composer) is a multi-disciplinary Grammy-nominated composer from Atlanta, GA. She is delighted to collaborate with the Alliance Theatre production of Into the Burrow! Her career as a bass player skyrocketed after touring with 5-time Grammy award-winning bass virtuoso, Victor Wooten. After that, she toured and performed with Beyoncé as her bassist and Musical Director. Her production company, Divi Roxx Kids, aims to inspire and empower young people through music, edutainment and storytelling. In 2021, Scholastic Inc. released two picture books based on songs from her debut Grammy-nominated Family Music album, ‘Ready Set Go!’ Divinity’s original compositions can be heard on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, The Bold Type, and more. She composed and performed the theme song for Lyla in the Loop, premiering on PBS Kids in 2024. She made her theatrical debut as a co-composer on The Boy Who Kissed The Sky, (Idris Goodwin). She made her debut as a playwright and actor in the world premiere of ‘Starchild: The Ballad of Debbie Walker’ at Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2023. Eugene H. Russell IV (Composer) is an Atlanta native, Tennessee State University alumnus, and proud Girl Dad. He's served as both a vocalist and saxophonist for countless bands who've opened for the likes of George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Boyz II Men, KC & the Sunshine Brand, and Mother’s Finest. An accomplished musician/composer whose single “What If” can be found on all streaming platforms, Eugene IV recently co-wrote the music for The Boy Who Kissed the Sky which was co-produced by the Alliance Theatre and Seattle Children’s Theatre. He's currently working on the music for a Theatrical Outfit world premiere Hip-Hop musical about John Lewis. His regional theatre acting credits include East Texas Hotlinks (True Colors Theatre Company), Dutchman (Nebraska Repertory Theatre), and Before It Hits Home (St. Louis Black Rep), for which he received the prestigious Woodie King, Jr. Award. Rachel Van Buskirk (Choreography) danced professionally with the Atlanta Ballet for thirteen years and has been commissioned as a guest artist with various other companies across the country. Professional highlights include North American premieres of David Bintley’s Carmina Burana as the principal lead “Fortuna”, Liam Scarlett’s Vespertine, and the world premiere of Lauri Stalling’s big with Big Boi from Outkast. Some of her favorite roles include “Lucy” in Micheal Pink’s Dracula, “Autumn” in James Kedulka’s The Four Seasons, and the duet in Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16. Rachel was nominated and cover girl for Dance Magazine’s 2012’s “25 to Watch” and named a “30 Under 30” by ArtsATL. In 2017, Rachel co-founded Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre where her roles include Dancer, Co-Director of Terminus Student Company, Marketing Director, and Choreographer. She has choreographed several short works for Terminus’ school and company, co-created a duet, Treaty, which premiered in Montana, created a children's ballet, Peter & the Wolf, partnered with the Alliance Theatre, and produced The Nutcracker Suite on the Terminus Student Company. In addition to her dance career, Rachel is also a passionate dance educator and mentor and is currently pursuing a Business Degree in Management at Georgia State University. 

Sam Honeycutt (Stage Management Production Assistant) Samantha Honeycutt studied Stage Management at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before beginning her career working across the country. Her credits include: Year of the Rooster, When January Feels like Summer, and Five Times in One Night (Ensemble Studio Theater). Legally Blonde, Hello!
